- Mail collection & bin rotation/management — clear & collate mail; put bins out/in on schedule.

- External switchboard checks — verify power status & identify tripped circuits to ensure all systems & appliances are functioning as intended.

- Light risk-prevention tasks — minor rectifications such as; sealing a window, shutting a gate, turning off a hose. Simple mitigations to stop escalation.

- Photo reports & real-time updates — timestamped photos + brief summary via WhatsApp/Telegram/email included with every visit.

OUR HOME CHECK-IN SERVICES IN DETAIL

  • Scheduled walk-arounds & visual inspections of your home’s exterior & all entry points to ensure everything appears secure, undisturbed & well maintained.

    • What we look at: doors, windows, locks, gates, garage/side access, meter boxes, visible fencing, letterbox and street frontage.

    • What we flag immediately: signs of forced entry or tampering, smashed glass, open/ajar windows, unsecured gates, hazards on paths/entries.

    • What you receive: timestamped photos + brief summary noting anything unusual and actions taken.

  • We monitor lawns, gardens and outdoor spaces; noting storm damage, overgrowth, fallen branches or anything out of place.

    • Observation focus: trip hazards, fallen limbs, blocked drains/gutters (visible from ground), evidence of trespass, dumped items.

    • Pool checks (visual): water level, pump/filter status lights & obvious leaks (no water testing or servicing).

    • Minor tidy-ups (included): close/secure gates, move light debris off paths, straighten bins/furniture after wind. (Larger work sit under “light maintenance” add-on.)

    • External switchboard: A single tripped circuit can disable: fridges/freezers (spoiled/mouldy food), stall pool pumps (green pools/pump damage), air conditioning units (High internal temps in hotter months) and disable auto gates/doors (no access). We detect, document & restore power safely (or escalate to an electrician)

  • Small but important tasks like dealing windows, shutting off hoses, clearing light debris stop minor problems from becoming costly ones.

    • Quick fixes we do on the spot: turn off running taps/hoses, re-seat loose flyscreens, return/secure furniture moved by high winds, close unlatched windows/doors, remove small debris from high-traffic areas.

    • Risk prevention: sandbag/door towel placement for minor ingress, warning notes for slipper surfaces, remove tripping hazards or temporary tape to mark hazards.

    • Escalation rule: if a task requires tools, specialist skills, height access, or >10 minutes, we recommend an add-on service or a tradie.

  • We collect mail, rotate bins, and maintain that “lived-in” look; helping deter break-ins and avoid council complaints/issues.

    • Mail: collect, stack neatly in a nominated safe spot (out of street sight); can photograph key items on request.

    • Bins: put out/bring in on council schedule; check lids closed/secure after storms.

    • Optional add-on: bin cleaning

  • With. your permission, we securely hold a spare key for emergency access or scheduled entry by approved parties. Every use is logged for transparency.

    • Storage: off-site in a lockbox with unique identifiers (not your street address).

    • Access controls: keys only used with your explicit approval (except pre-authorised emergencies).

    • Audit trail: date/time, purpose, staff member, and duration recorded for each use.

  • Following major weather events or alerts, we attend your property to assess exterior damage, provide photo updates and notify you of urgent concerns.

    • On arrival: safety sweep (downed lines avoided), perimeter check, quick risk triage.

    • Checks performed: broken fences, leaks/ingress points, fallen branches, power status, pool equipment status, security system panels (where visible).

    • Immediate actions: simple temporary securing (e.g. close/secure points of entry, turn off water/source where accessible).

    • Documentation: timestamped photos/video + incident notes you can pass to your insurer.

    • Escalation: organise SES/trades as needed; supervise access if requested.

  • Subtle cues like alternating blinds & lights to help the home look occupied. (Personnel can wear bodycams upon entry upon request).

    • What we do: vary blinds/curtains, alternate interior/exterior lights on approved circuits/timers, move small porch items.

    • How we do it: randomised patterns/schedules so the property doesn’t look automated.

  • At your request, we inspect interior spaces for storm damage, check switchboards, fridges/freezers and confirm systems after outages. Bodycams available upon request.

    • Entry protocol: alarm codes or key fobs (if supplied), bodycam on request, shoes off/booties where appropriate, rooms visited recorded.

    • What we check: signs of water ingress/mould/smells, tripped breakers, vital appliances such as fridges/freezers/air conditioners, internal temperature check, close windows only accessible from inside, beeping alarms/smoke detectors, AC controller errors, obvious leaks in wet areas & essential lights functional.

    • Quick actions: reset tripped breakers, power-cycle internet modems, shut off obvious water sources, place towels/buckets to mitigate until a tradie attends.

    • Boundaries: no dismantling, rewiring, roof access or specialist repairs (we will coordinate a qualified trade at your request).

  • Every visit includes timestamped photos and a brief summary delivered to your phone or email.

    • Standard visit: 10-30 timestamped photos (depending on property size & level of service). Plain English report provided. Video report optional.

    • Delivery: email, WhatsApp or Telegram within the agreed window after each visit.

    • Record-keeping: we retain copies for an agreed period so you have an audit trail on hand.

  • We coordinate access for your preferred tradespeople, cleanres or service providers and supervise entry & lock-up if required (at an additional cost).

    • Before the visit: confirm scope, expected arrival/departure and ID.

    • During: meet & greet, unlock/lock, remain on-site if supervision is requested, capture progress photos if helpful.

    • After: lock-up confirmation and short note (and photos if requested). (Workmanship remains the responsibility of the trade provider).

  • Routine logs, photos and reports to help keep your cover in good standing for unoccupied properties.

    • Visit logs: dates, times, who attended, checklist. of areas reviewed and any actions taken.

    • Evidence bundle (on request): timestamped images/video, storm-event notes, simple incident timeline you can submit to your insurer.
